    Electric Fencer Anti-Theft Box
This is something I have been thinking of doing. Basically cast a concrete box with some lockable lid on top. Then put both the fencer and battery in the box, so it can't be stolen.
The plan would be to make maybe 2 for different fields and leave them there permanently with an earth bar.
I want to put the fencer in a field near a main road at the moment. I know it will be stolen If I do. Had one stolen once.
Has anyone ever done anything like this?

I've a feeling someone in here made one before, dont quote me on that but I think it was a steel box that shocked anyone who tried to tamper it

You should look into the solar anti theft box cheetah make. We got one 18 months ago. Great job. If you try to move the box you ll get a "shock". There is a fella nearby that likes taking things that dont belong to him, he hasnt managed to take this. It maybe expensive but great to know it ll be there in the morning.

Yep - we have land away from the house where anything that isn't nailed down goes missing. Latest solution is a concrete trough in the ground, with a lockable manhole cover concreted into the top. Nobody's managed to open it yet at least.

Yes someone on here did make one before, it was Muckit.

The pictures are missing now, but below is a link to an anti-theft solar fence that he made. It was a very tidy job.

Maybe if you PM'd him he might put one on price to you :D
