    Hello,
I need to send 2 letters to the USA and 1 to Dublin 4.
When I go to the post office , can I just ask for 3 ordinary stamps or do I need special ones for the USA?
And how long does it take to deliver to the USA?
    THANKS

Once it comes to the right cost it doesnt matter about the particular stamp per se. But technically for a stamp overseas you do need a airmail sticker. Probably would get away with out it however.

The letter to D4 will cost 68c. As with all external (foreign) mail, show it to the person behind the counter, they may want to weigh it but if it's under 50g and a basic envelope going to the US, it will cost €1. Ask for an airmail sticker.

I know this is an old thread and sorry for opening it again.

I looked on the an post website and could not find the answer.

Anyway, I do feck all posting and only discovered today that stamps have gone up to 68c, I know I should know this but I rarely use the post anymore.

Problem is I posted a letter yesterday and had some stamps lying around the house and used them i.e a 60 cent stamp and I used that.

    Will that be rejected ?

No it will take a while for the 60c stamp to filter out.
