    Hi Folks,

Can anyone come up with a way of doing this?

I have a 400 page A6 document. It is created in Indesign so its easily exported to a 400pp A6 PDF file.

Here's the trick, its got page numbers in it at the bottom of each page from 1 to 400 like a book. I am trying to print it 8up on an SRA3 sheet (50 sheets total) but in such a way that when it is cut on a guillotine the 8 blocks keep the sequence of pages in order so you can place the 8 blocks one on top of the other after trimming and have the order intact 1 to 400.

So the first 8up sheet would print these page numbers: 1,50,100,150,200,250,300,350. The next sheet under it prints 2,51,101,151,201,251,301,351 etc etc.

I have tried the multiple page per sheet option when printing but I can't get this sequence out of it. I think the only way is to send it to print as: Print pages: 1,50,100,150,200,250,300,350,2,51,101,151,201,251,301,351 etc all the way to 400 which is nuts.

Can anyone figure out another way?

You could probably script it, like this.
