Antonov AN12 crashes in Algeria

Just saw this on the AV Herald and apologies if it's already been reported here but an An12 flying from Prestwick to Equatorial Guinea has crashed following a stopover in Tammanrassett in Algeria. Not good :( I can't post links so copy from below avherald.com/h?article=479906af&opt=0

That's sad to read. Was this the same aircraft that used to fly over Ireland regularly on the way from prestwick I wonder? Heard it fly over us on Waterford back around April - some sound off it

The same aircraft flew Shannon to Prestwick the previous day.
