Looking for suggestions for a camera and an external mic for high quality Youtube videos?

    What would you buy?

Is the gopro my best option for that money, I want to record indoors and thought I might be able to get something better than the gopro for roughly the same money as one would cost, as I don't plan to shoot videos while sky diving etc...

My Video Test - and I'm complete rookie.

This was done using my Canon 5D Mark 2 with Canon 50mm F1.4 and a H4n Zoom.

Could be done Easy with a 500D with Canon 50mm F1.8 with a H1n Zoom

Which would be around 400-500 euros.
