Get a 25/a/b/x/66/a/b/x/67/x from stop 2239, the Dual Carriageway. There are also buses from the other end of the centre (the 40) but they don't go directly to the city centre.

Coming off the bus you can either get off in Heuston and get on a tram to Connolly/Busáras, or else get off at D'Oiler St. and walk to Amien's Street.

40 from the stop outside the centre (cinema end) would be closest, but it takes the scenic route through Neilstown,Ballyfermot and Inchicore before getting to the city centre.Would leave you on O'Connell Street.

The 40 is scheduled to take 45 minutes. The 25a is scheduled to take 17 minutes. Don't take the 40!

If s/he is unfamilar with the area they mightn't want to be trudging around the centre looking for the overpass etc is all I'm saying.

That is also one long walk out to the dual carriageway bus stop for someone with kids or bags weighing them down.

I would not recommend the 40 to anyone unless they wish to lose the will to live.

The Lucan Road routes serve the opposite end of the shopping centre to the 40. It does not take Einstein to find the way to their stop.

Yeah, depending where you are in the centre the Lucan Road is closer. Also bear in mind he might be coming in from the carpark and not the centre so he can park right by the footbridge. And even if you walk at a snails pace it's still faster!
