Hi Guys looking for a bit of advise.
I have a sony vaio, spec is windows 8 core i5 8gb ram 64 bit system. Laptop mainly used to surf the web, facebook, boards and u tube. I have the laptop about two years from new and for the first 18 months all ran fine. The last six months it is constantly disconnecting from my wi fi home network it will usually reconnect after a few minutes but it getting to be a pain in the rear end. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or what could i do to fixthis problem.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ollie.

Could it be a router problem? Had an issue where the router kept resetting every few mins was very frustrating.

Is there anyone else using the broadband?. Do they get any problems?. Only ask as i said exact same problem I had. Was something to do with the channel. The tech guy said someone around was transmitting same channel so signals were getting crossed. He talked me through changing channel and sorted it out right away. Best of luck.

Hi Joshua thanks for the input tried that with the eircom tech and still no joy. I am starting to wonder if its either a contention ratio problem or a software problem.
    Thanks Ollie.
