    Looking to buy a new monitor for gaming, saw it for a good price on this site but not sure on how legitimate it is. Anyone have any experience?

    On an unrelated side note, anyone know what are the best websites for buying electronics in Ireland?

    Thanks

    No experience with them, but wouldnt touch them, look at all woolly stuff written in the "about us" section and others.

    Returns policy seems t indicate no cooling off period, and you dont get refunds of delivery charges etc.

    While probably not a scam per se have a look at this thread on a similar website.

    Digging on the parent company name provides this
    Key Financials are not available as RIVERVIEW SALES LIMITED has not filed accounts. Accounts are required to be filed on or before 20/09/2013.

    I was gonna buy some stuff from them but changed my mind it says on website you can pay with paypal and other options but when you click on them nothing happens and at check out it asks you to transfer money to an AIB account in the name of Sabrina Shortt also their facebook page has not been updated in months. If i was you i would avoid them and use komplett.ie i just got an evo212 from them and all was good. or esigner.ie they are new but are quite good also.

    I was in the same boat as yourself, enticed by their low prices and also by the fact that I live only a few minutes away from their apparent location. I first registered my details and got a generic email with their contact details, etc. I then emailed them inquiring about a product I was interested in purchasing but have not heard anything back. As I'm in a rush to purchase I decided to ring them up and the phone number given doesn't even ring?? Also I'm not fond of the idea that they only permit payment of a bank draft or bank deposit. This is quoted directly from their own site;

    "We only accept payments by Bank Deposit or Bank Transfer."

    All these little things make it feel untrustworthy, although this is all based on gut instinct, would love to hear feedback from anyone that might have purchased from them.

    Everything you've just written about them screams "run a mile and never look back". When they don't reply to emails, have a number that is unreachable and take payment only by bank transfer that's not gut instinct telling you something's amiss - it's common sense and logic.

    Just like pleasant said take a chance, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
