I've dedicated the better part of 7 years to World of Warcraft, and have quit for a bit while I do the baby-raising business. What's free and awesome aside from TERA? I've tried Forsaken World but it's a bit too.... social (?) for me. Fantasy theme is the preference as I'm not down with the shooty-boom-boom (being a girl with minimal reflexes aside from mouse buttons for HealBot :p )

No matter what Mmorpg I try ( free or p2p ), I always come back to WoW.

If you enjoyed Wow, you better off just going back to wow then trying out some free to play mmorpg. Free mmorpg tend to have even bigger grinds or time sinks, so it will take even more time out of you.

Even so, looks like Tera ( which you already tried ) is the most fair and best REAL free mmorpg, Not Something like SWTOR.

It's just really something for night-time playing and the odd time between feeds when Her Royal Nibs is napping. Just wouldn't be willing to fork out the sub for WoW to fill that void (but I do get what you mean, nothing comes close to satisfying it). I have TERA downloaded and installed, played a bit of it last night but I find the starting quests slow from doing it so many times so was hoping there was something new out there I didn't know about :o

Guild Wars 2? Its not free, but you should be able to pick it up cheaply and it has no Sub. I personally dont really like it, but it looks like a Perfect option for you. You are not going for high level hardcore content, so GW2 should work out.
If time is limited and interupted, then maybe you should better focus on some sort of Single player RPG? Try Witcher games, Skyrim, Diablo 3?

Have played GW2 to death, didn't really like Witcher, but played and cleared Skyrim (plus DLC) and Dragon Age many, many times :p Diablo 3 is one I was looking into, just need funds first!

I'm beginning to think I might have played all the good ones :p Actually playing Dota 2 at the minute, not normally my style but it's keeping me awake!

Well, Dota 2 is not a game in which you can go AFK easily! :p

if you are looking at diablo 3, why not try path of exile,
its similar to diablo but completely free.
and from what ive seen very popular and supposed to be a better choice than diablo also.

i have virtually no real experience with those types of games,
ive played path of exile for maybe 10 hours, but it does seem like a decent time sink for between feeds as you said.

Just downloading it off Steam now, should be interesting to try if nothing else!

Actually good call. Almost forgot about it.

Op, try it first, then you will know if you like these RPGs. As for which one is better - ITS VERY DEBATABLE!

probably best to take his word that it is debatable of which is better,
i never played diablo and play a very small amount of path of exile.

but hope you get what your looking for either way.
