Power supply query

    Hi guys,

    im in the middle of build a PC and just happened to notice my GPU, an R9 270x it has a recomended power supply of 500w.. i already baught a brand new corsair 430w supply. will there be any issues with using the 430watt ?

    Thanks ok got a little worried their for a minute. There must be some reason for a recommended 500w supply though ?

    It's to cut down on failure rates of GPUs, when people go out and buy craptastic 500W units.
