First off,Thanks for taking your time to view this post.

    Secondly,I'm confused and worried.

I live in Ireland with my dad and I'm on the dole however I was thinking about moving over to England with my mum and getting a NI Number,When I get it I will then think about working in England.

But,will my dole be taken off me when they find out I have a NI number and no work??

    Thanks for your time.

    this might apply to you

I would imagine you be fine would need to prove your not working in the UK while you transferred claim is activated.
best to talk to them first and explain you are applying for the NI number and extending your job seeking to the UK as well as Ireland.

Are you on JSA (Allowance) or JSB? If you're on JSB (Benefit), you know you can transfer the claim to the UK for three months whilst you look for work?

If you're on the Allowance, then it won't be possible to transfer it and you will lose the payment.
