Upgrade win 8.1 to 8.1 pro ?

Got a new laptop with windows 8.1 preinstalled, but for college I need 8.1 pro.

Is it possible to do this online?

Also required ;
- MS Office professional Plus 2010 or
- MS Office Home & Student 2010 or
- MS Office University 2010.

Not available in shopsany ideas how to get these.

I dont have an optical drive so online would be ideal but I cant seem to find them.

your institution does not offer these? Contact their IT and ask about software/dreamspark availability.

Its unusual at this stage for them to not have switched to 2013 Office packages. Unless an instructor tells you there is a specific need to have one version, you can typically ignore this. Only in some rare cases will it make any difference, for everything else it will only affect for instance where your plotting tools are located in Excel, and give you more or less options.

Its up to ourselves to get the software. I have been told that newer versions of office are fine.
Jyst wondering how to upgrade to Win 8.1 professional now. Microsoft web site is very confusing.
