    Hi there,

My mam and I wanted to go see her sis in Washington this winter. Aer lingus (united airlines really) normally fly direct in the winter. I found the 2013 winter schedule and it's there starting at the end of October. But when I check both the aer lingus and UA website for flights, there are no direct flights. My mam said the flights were always jammed.

Anyone got any idea when the winter schedule for flights comes out? Thanks.

Aer Lingus don't seem to be offering this flight over the winter.

I put the details into www.kayak.ie. They have a fight with BA for €556. Dep Dub at 14.35 - Lhr 15.55 stopover 1 hour 40 mins then dep Lhr at 17.35 to arrive in IAD at 20.35
Flying back leave IAD at 18.30 arrive in LHR at 6.40 Thur morning
have stopover of 2h 10 mins so leave for Dub at 8.50 & arr in Dub at 10.10.

I then used the 3 day +/- on kayak.ie to see if I could get this flight cheaper and a direct flight came up using this United flying out Wed 1 Oct and back Thur 9 Oct for €699.
I don't know when you want to travel but if you use this 3 day +/- it should help you find United direct fights.

United are flying the route in November and December, its bieng suspended in Jan/Fab and early March 2015 because of aircraft maintenance.

Direct flights ex Dublin in November/December are daily except Wednesday and Thursday. Available on both United and Aer Lingus sites.

Thanks for that. I didn't scroll down past all the stopover flights on the aerlingus website. My mam will be thrilled. Will check out kayak website too.

Direct flights will probably be cheaper on united website as they are the operator.
