    We've just come back;
Dyson DC35 slim recharge vacuum €199
    Stella 44pc cutlery set €99
    Dunlopillo cotton cover single €10
Feather /down pillow twin pack €20
George Forman 7 portion entertainer €50
    Henckels 5 piece knives €99, 7 pce €199
Christy bath sheets €15, bath towels €10
    Kenwood food mixers €250 900w and €329 1200w
Bed linen is very much grandma prints
Cushions (sofa etc) still expensive (I saw some down from €100 to €50??!)

Lots of folk wondering around smart phone in hand checking prices on amazon.

Furniture wasn't greatly reduced - seen better bargains in DFS during their 'sales'

We were in the first 15 in the door, till queue now 45 mins.

Did you notice any dishwashers and if so, the price of them?

No, but they had fridges and washing machines - I didn't go near the 'white ware' section. I do remember seeing the Miele and Bosch signs.. Sorry

Not liking those people 'wondering' around, even if they are on the phone.

    Wandering - OK, maybe.

Wondering? PFO and w?nder somewhere else....

    Not your ornery onager

Sorry, damn auto correct... Of course I meant wandering

Although there were lots of 'wonderers', curious as to whether there were any real bargains too, which is why I posted :)

Whatever about bargains, be very wary of Arnotts after sales customer service. I bought a Smart TV from their last bargain sale which developed faults, and I'm having nothing but trouble with Arnotts trying to get a refund. Indifferent arrogance would be a good way to describe their attitude so far:rolleyes:

Best way to encourage a better response from an indifferent business is to publicise it.. I had major issues with a phone supplier, and after months of chasing, I set up a blog detailing every phone call, email and letter, updating it daily, brought a cheap .com domain, and tweeted and Facebooked it loudly. Providing you're truthful, you're not doing anything wrong and a company's PR and Marketing departments can be motivating to the Customer Services department to ensure your problem gets resolved :)

Meanwhile yes there were Miele dishwashers still there at 10am (went back to get something I dithered over yesterday). They started at €369, and there were both standard and integrated versions.

Bummer - I thought it wasn't worth the drive from Clare just in case they didn't have any, now I wish I had and it's too late :(

    Thanks for looking though :)

    Anyone been there today?

Was there yesterday, rammed. Managed to get a great deal on bed and mattress. Good deals on glasses, cutlery, cook ware, queues were very long yesterday, took at least 20 minutes to pay.

needed stuff got new house: towels, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, sheets mattress protectors. Good deals on rugs, beds mattresses but wasn't impressed with the mirrors and sofas/chairs.

It's does get rammed. Car was parked ages away!

Edit: not as good as the last one in March imo

A great opportunity to see arnotts selling things at Amazon's pre-sale prices.

To anyone who was there at the weekend, are the prices any lower on cookware than currently on their website?

Specifically this set of sauce pans which are down from €419 to €159.

    That's selling for €180 (£130) on Amazon

That set wasn't there but there was a similar set with the stainless steel lids that were €130 I think.
