    Hi all,
I would like to build my own "ultimate" blutooth speaker.
I am a furniture maker and want to build it in a nice timber. I have basic experience in electronics.

My idea is to strip down a set of dell pc speakers as they have great sound. So that is the speakers, woofer/bass box, 3.5 jack and I assume amp sorted.
I would like it to also be able to charge from usb, so can someone point me in the direction of the correct module for this?
And why not go mad and put in blutooth and fm radio?
    Would http://www.dx.com/p/lson-bluetooth-v3-0-edr-audio-mp3-decoder-module-black-12v-296571#.VADMmMVdWy0 suit?

    Any other ideas? Or comments?

    Thanks

The average computer speakers can be an incredibly sophisticated design, even if just look like plastic. If you have looked into designing speaker cabinets you will get an idea how difficult it can be. The resonant frequencies of the plastic used is one of the design factors. vents, tubes, baffles, even the cloth covering affects the tuning.

So basically i would not dismantle them if you can get away with it.

Bluetooth and FM radio will always sound crap compared to direct audio from pc.
    Are those speakers mains powered?
