Webpages not loading or slow to load

Hi folks, I am having serious issues with my macbook pro. For the last few weeks webpages are very slow to load if at all. Sometimes when I type address in address bar I have to highlight it and hit enter as it won't load the first time. Hi folks,

I am having serious issues with my macbook pro. For the last few weeks webpages are very slow to load if at all. Sometimes when I type address in address bar I have to highlight it and hit enter as it won't load the first time. Other times it half loads so I have the top part of the page and the bottom part won't load, just showing a grey colour? Even flicking between different tabs is bringing up the spinning beachball!!

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to fix this?

I am running OS X 10.9.3

Sounds like something so making it run slow. Are you low on disk space? Try downloading a cleanup tool like Onyx to see if that improves things.
