USC Issue

Basically, I started a new job in May and the employer did not submit my P45. I only found out last month and I rang revenue and they were able to sort it
Now I just received my paycheck and I paid over €450 in USC last month alone so I ring back again and they tell me that when I rang the last time that the band for USC was not changed.

I am literally on the breadline.. My question is can I ask revenue to issue me a cheque for it because I cannot afford to wait another month for it.

    Don't think so.

Perhaps approach your boss for an advance on the refund due at the end of the month.
