    Some nice stuff there.

However, wix is serving your stuff badly, really badly. It is a truly awful platform and the theme is too fancy to the point of being a bit off-putting with too much confusing swishy type movement in the portfolio gallery which users don't interact with well. Wix is also disastrous for SEO. I checked a few of your pages and all Google will see is 'AmE Photography Loading'. All your other content is invisible to Google which will kill your site search engine ranking dead.

Bite the bullet now and redeploy on a much better platform like WordPress. It has a huge amount of photography themes, plugins and loads of tutorial videos on youtube. You'll be grateful in the longer run.

I had a word press site before and I absolutely hated it. I will migrate to something better. For the moment this will have to do me until I can afford something better. I did however change the portfolio gallery to simple slide shows which are a little easier to navigate like you were saying

Nice job man! Next step is only marginally harder than starting one up, and thats regularly publishing new blogs, i.e. dont let it slide!
I done the same just under a month ago and im aiming for two blogs per week. So far so good.

While i know virtually nothing about web design ( my blog & site can attest to this), I am finding wordpress pretty good once you identify its limitations and get an overview of how it works.

I dont have any experience with Wix, but what i can give feedback on your site. it looks nice but the biggest detractor is the time it took to load. I was browsing on an ipad and it took at least 25 seconds to load the page.
The menu appeared within 5 seconds, but i could not click a link for another 25 seconds.

if that was a business site, I would have long since closed it down and moved on ( which is exactly how i narrowed down photographers for my wedding, if the site wasnt quick to load up, and easy to browse i closed it. I had 60+ photographers sites to view, anything to help narrow them down. harsh but thats life).

Im on http://www.fintangphotography.com/blog/ if you want a look. Its a Work in progress. next step is purchasing a decent theme & maybe even some web designer time to help with SEO.

Yeah the Bandwidth is something I am having trouble with. Yeah I can fully understand that, slow internet is the worst thing ever.

I did some web design modules in UCD but that was two years ago and with most things people learn in college, I have forgotten most of it already but I might try rebuild it on Dreamweaver and see how it goes. Ill have a look at your one now.. Cheers for the feedback :D

Why the huge big empty white space above your name?

I decided to read your blog about your trip to South Africa so I click "Read More" which gives me one extra sentence and I have to go elsewhere to see the photos - not good. I expected to see and read more when I clicked the first time.

Just my 2c worth - I think you'd be hard pressed to beat Wordpress for a blog.

Wordpress can be excellent for photo blogs especially if you get a nice clean theme for it.
I also recommend checking out Koken. I use it for my photos. It's a free system but you need to self host.

Self-hosted is the better option to be honest and you could get a monthly plan for a couple of dollars if you look at some of the U.S. hosting plans (bluehost, etc)

Some super shots there, The south Africa trip looked great, I wasted a week over there and was kicking myself I didn't get some good street shots.

    Fixed that empty space.

Yeah I see what you mean about the South Africa Gallery, I added a link to the full gallery in that blog post. I think that should help it look a little better.. Cheers :D
