Hey guys I'm looking for a flashy business suit for an upcoming science conference. Where can you recommend?

Should you not buy a science suit?

Louis Copeland do some great suits around that price. However is you budget just for the suit or is it suit, shirt, tie, cufflinks and shoes?

Suit only - TM Lewin. Get it tailored by someone actually taking the measurements and then doing the altering (stores normally "send off" the suit to be altered and it never comes back right).

Suit with shirt, shoes, links etc - M&S. Collezione is a good range for the suits, not expensive either.

    OR

Order online from Suitsupply. London based, not pricey, but have very flashy suits.

    MORE:

Shirts - TM Lewin / Copeland / Tommy Hilfiger / Michael Barrie.
Ties - BTs. Or look online for ebay sellers with pre-owned / vintage designer ties.
Shoes - Fitzpatricks / Boylans (Hibernian Way). Avoid Office and those kinds of places. Basically anywhere that sells shoes with pointy toes.
Links - BTs (Paul Smith are "flashy" - they have ones with naked ladies on hee hee hee)

As a larger guy (46R jacket, 40 trousers), I found my options were fairly limited in many shops. I ended up in Savoy Taylors Guild in Kildare village last weekend, who had plenty of options in my size. I got a nice 3-pc suit in the end.

I have a couple of shirts from there, not bad for really low price. They also carry Ted Baker suits, though I think they are bit too "modern" for my taste - I tend to be more classic menswear.

As for Massimo, all I'll say is HMMMM.
