There is only one way to free Palestine. To force it to stop it's state ordered terrorist attacks on Israel. If Palestine calmed down a bit they could be completely free.

Gaza is where the attacks come from. The area being colonised is Arab East Jerusalem and the West Bank. I'm not seeing the connection myself.

I totally understand people defending the Palestinian civilians but not Palestine as a country. The democratically elected government is a known terrorist group, that's just not right and shouldn't be allowed continue.

If Hamas were out of government and Palestine could respect a cease fire I support them in this but right now I dont think we are doing enough to stop them.

Hamas was founded in 1983 or so. Israel's program of colonisation began in 1967.

You seem to think that the Palestinians are governed by Hamas - they aren't, only a small number in a very small area.

You seem to think that "If Palestine calmed down a bit they could be completely free. ". This rather ignores the fact that Israel is building colonies in the West Bank, Arab East Jerusalem and the Golan. Civillian colonies, with tax breaks for those who move there, not military garrisons to protect itself. That should set a few alarm bells ringing if you think about it.

As for the world doing "more to eliminate Hamas" - Israel has been illegally colonising Palestinian land for 16 years longer than Hamas has existed. Hamas exist because of the failure of other factions to end the occupation. Perhaps then the world might be better tackling Israeli aggression first.
