    Heading up north soon.
Is there anywhere near Newry that sells premium/ultimate diesel, and is "trustworthy"

What's the difference between BP's ultimate diesel or normal diesel?

What difference does it make in practice though? Better performance? Better fuel economy? Better for the engine? Or just placebo?

Running the van up on regular diesel, we arrived with the light on for a good bit then put in 20 litres to get us back.

    On return:
    • Noticeably quieter
    • A noticable increase in power
    • Less smoke
    • Consumption was slightly better

BP Ultimate certainly makes my car a good bit quieter and quicker.

    'tis no more... :(.

Took a trip up today especially and it's closed down in process of being converted to an "NSI" station... Bit gutted as after reading this I'd timed it so I'd be arriving almost on fumes .

Anybody any other suggestions around the M1/A1 corridor?

Update: Currently running on BP ulitimate , on my second tank.

It's not cheap in the UK, but the engine is running as sweet as a nut.

    Looking forward to milesPlus Diesel
