    Hi OP

I'm currently doing a Level 5 in Child Care in work every Friday morning with the VEC. The book we're using is 'Child Development: An Illustrated Guide' by Carolyn Meggitt. Our tutor told us it's for both Level 6 and Level 5. I find it brilliant. It also has a DVD with it (newest edition). Also 'Child Health and Well Being' by Niamh Gaine and 'Child Development For Students In Ireland' by Eilis Flood are highly recommended!
