CS:GO Problem

    One of my friends, when ever he try's to CS on steam it will say its opening, then the box will dissapear. I havea good enough knowledge of computers and iv'e tried everything i can think of nothing has worked. Looked up loads of forums nothing works.

    Anyone else have this problem ? be a great help if someone can help me because this problem is very annoying.

    He has windows 8.1,
    Nvidia GTX 770,

    The game used to run fine on his computer but then it just stopped, so i was thinking some update or something has messed with it.

    Verify the game via right click on it in Steam?

    Delete the steam cache (tiny file) and restart steam.

    Delete the game and reinstall.

    Well we have verified the game integrity, deleted the app cache ? and deleted the game and reinstalled the game and nothing same thing :/
