Leaving Cert History Research Project

So for the leaving cert history you have to do a research project, I've a great interest in music also and was wondering if anyone can suggest topics to do with music I could do, I was considering the jazz movement or Woodstock but am open to ideas :)

Jazz and the different treatment black artists got in Europe as compared to the US. Josephine Baker would be a related option.
