Great spot, I just bought one. Always wanted a tablet, but couldn't justify paying big money as I have a 5 inch HTC phone, but at <100 I can

    Steep enough shipping costs

I'd recommend waiting until the Nexus 8 comes out and the Nexus 7 2013 version goes cheap as the screen is so much better than the 2012 version.

Really, is it worth waiting for? At €110 (incl shipping) are there other tablets out there in the same quality bracket as this?

    Thanks.

4.4 has already been released for it. Android L/5 is also likely when it comes out.

If you want a bigger screen this looks like a good deal, although its a refurb.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

€105 shipped is a superb price for this piece of kit!

Bought mine second hand in perfect condition a few months ago for €90 and that was a steal at the time. It was for sale in Argos a few times recently for €125, but very little availability
will this be updated to 4.4?

Yep. The previous owner had wiped mine and upgraded to 4.4 before I got it

It seems yes, description from the above link
Internally, the tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage with microSD expansion support. Users will have access to 5GB of lifetime cloud storage with Asus WebStorage.
