    Hi,
I just did my Leaving Cert this year and would like to do something related to Accountancy. I did Ordinary Level Accounting for my LC. I am not sure if I should do Accounting Technicians or go straight for ACCA.
Let say if I do ACCA, how many exams can I do in a year?

The max you can do is 4 per sitting, 2 sittings a year. They are very difficult exams, passing 4 a year, 2 per sitting is doing very very well.

What I would recommend is accounts technician course in a local plc college.

For direct entry into ACCA in leaving cert, in my day you had to have 3 hons in hons subjects.
