Biopsy how long for results

    I had a biopsy done and the doctor is going on hook days.he have me an appointment for sep 9 th.how long do results normally take.
    It's for possible skin cancer on my nose :-(

    It took three weeks.It turned out to be hypertopic actinic keratosis with demal elastosis and overlaying scale crust.
    so He removed a load of lesions with cyrogenics.If he didnt they could turn cancerous.I have to get them checked every six months and wear factor 50 plus.:)
    Glad I went and got it checked it was just a spot that wouldnt heal.For about four months .

    my dad has a growth on his nose 4 years now. He was a the doctor who referred him to a specialist straight away.
    but he wont attend him even after the specialist called him because of the doctors report to him.
    This has me up the walls as its going on so long now. I really dont know what to do.
    he makes a joke of it when i mention it. Iv told him i can do any driving to and from appointments and support him in every way but it falls on deaf ears.
    This is a fairly big open wound on the bridge of his nose. Disgusting to look at but he seems to ignore the fact that this is the only thing people can see when talking to them.
    anyway I'm delighted that it worked out well for you and thank for taking the time to reply. K
