    Hi,
New to Cork and been considering taking up a racquet sport.
Does anyone know of places/clubs in Cork where you can take lessons in either tennis, squash, or badminton?

    Thanks:)

Both Ashton school and Douglas community school are offering tennis and/or badminton lessons as part of their autumn adult evening classes.

The elusive Badminton..Love it tried to set up a friendly club but failed as we could not find a hall.

Aston and Douglas are the best places really. The lady who teaches in douglas is great very nice and she will teach you all the tricks.. There is Garryduff for tennis and badminton also but the badminton is defo a little more serious up there..

I would highly recommend Highfield Squash Club. Most active squash club in Cork City, lots of coaches and very friendly. They are just off the Model Farm Road and they have a website with all the details about how to join etc. I hope this helps.
