Hi anyone know how to scrap/sell this car. Car needs work: driver's electric window not working, air con a bit temperamental, sensor lights coming on, NCT due, Tax due. Engine in perfect working order. Was driven this week. Clean interior. Has been serviced regularly. Tyres not in bad condition. Might suit a mechanic to fix, or someone for parts. Alternatively anyone know an approved reputable car scrapper?

Put it on adverts for a few hundred. Will be gone in a day or two. Got rid of my last 3 cars this way

Reckon that you would get more money from a parts breaker, especially one that specialises in BMW or German cars generally, than you would from a scrap merchant.

Might be a good idea to track some some parts breakers, including ones in Northern Ireland.

If you do contact any parts breakers, it's probable that you would have email some pics of the car and perhaps some details about the car's spec and any accident damage or major problems before they could offer you a firm price.

Someone will definitely take it on adverts. Just be fully up front about any faults. If you put it up for €400 it'll be gone within 24hrs I reckon

Might know somone that'd be interested?

Can you PM me on pics? (Or last 7 digits of the chassis number so he can check factory spec)

Glad it sold would be a crying shame to scrap a car for such little faults being wrong.
