Looking for a good welder

Howdy lads

So as the title says, I'm after a good welder, be it someone on here or someone one of ye know, the left driveshaft tunnel on my 900 has begun to rot, rather seriously at that, I know a guy who can weld, but he's not too sure he can even do it, a guy i rang said he'd do it, for 900/1000 euro which i think is extortionate I know a lot of work is involved and the gas used isn't cheap but anyways

So can anyone hep me out?
