No thread yet so I thought I'd throw one up. Just one category 3 climb so should be one for the sprinters.



Stage odds: Degenkolb 7/4, Bouhanni 7/4, Matthews 11/2, Hofland 20/1, Sagan 33/1

The real question is whether Bouhannni can hang on in there on the climb, or reconnect on the descent. If he can, he wins. If not, Degenkolb will be favourite.

I think they'll get him on the final climb but you never know.

Martin and Ligtart being kept on a short leash, gap is under 2 minutes at the half-way point of the stage.

Martin's given up on the breakaway, a bit too high on GC maybe. Ligtart's continued on alone and the gap has gone out to 2'33

That was nasty about Jimmy Engoulvent. :eek: Just thinking about that sort of heat makes me sweat..

And Cancellara losing 4.5kg in a single day. Bleh.

Its amasing really how Dan Martin & Nico Roche go so well in the extreme heat ....must be genetics

Out here on holidays. Was at the 300m line, great atmosphere. Just waded through a sea of people at the Tinkoff team bus getting pictures and autographs with Contador, hugely popular guy.
