tips for learning economics outside of school?

I will be taking english and maths at ordinary levels the other subjects i'm doing are:
geography
biology
home economics
i don't do Irish, I'm thinking of doing economics outside of school any tips?
do you think it's possible for me to get 450 points? That's what I'm aiming. Yes i know i need to put alot of work from 5th year.
