    I don't have that calculator, I use a Sharp EL-W531 (Writeview)

But I had a look on Google images and you could try the following and let me know how it works out.

    Do in the following order:

1.) Press the button on the left hand side column that looks like this (-).
2.) Use the directional buttons to get the cursor to move inside the brackets and sit on top of the '-'.
    3.) Press the number 2.
4.) Then use the directional buttons this time to move below the line, while staying inside the brackets.
5.) Use the actual bracket buttons (Look above '8' and '9') and create the following; ()()
6.) In the first bracket type (6.5)()
7.) In the second bracket press 'shift' then 'ln' (Aside; 'ln' is actually 'e^x' now since you have already pressed the 'shift' button.
8.) Then use the directional buttons to move the cursor into the power position above the 'e' (if it is not already there) and type the number 4.
    9.) Press equal

The answer should be = 0.005635581
Hope this works, let me know

That didn't seem to work. I had issues placing numbers above the line.

But this might help, that was my wok calculator.

My home one and the one I used in college is a Sharp EL-520W.
I have the sharp one with me now.

You should see the following on the screen: ()

2.) Now use the directional arrow to move the cursor into the middle of the brackets.

3.) Press the button labeled '2nd F' (It is the orange button at the top left hand side of the calculator, we call this the 'second function button).

4.) Now press the button labeled 'a b/c' (You will find it directly over the buttons for number '7' and number '8' on your calculator.

5.) Now use to directional arrows to move the cursor on top the line.

6.) Type the number 2 here and then use the directional arrows to move the cursor below the line.

7.) Now use the brackets to make the following (below the line): ()()

8.) (Use directional keys) Inside the first bracket type the number '6.5'

9.) Use directional keys and when inside the second bracket press the '2nd F' button again and then press the 'ln' button.

10.) Now use the directional arrows to move the cursor into the 'power' placeholder above the 'e'. and type the number '4'.

    11.) Press '='

I think the above should work but it is hard to know without the calculator in front of me, I have never used either of those calculators before.

If that doesn't work, buy a Sharp EL-W531 (Writeview) and get back onto me :)

I have a Casio FX-991ES which has a similar "Natural Display".
The first one I do like this:
    2 ÷ ( 6.5 × e▝4 →) =
(→means hit the right arrow key - otherwise the closing bracket is applied to the e function )

PS: You can also do fractions with the button that looks like this:

    ---

Thank you. It works slightly different on my sharp, as it don't have to move the curser above the line or anything. For example, e to the power of 4, I just press 2nd Function, ln, then 4.

But I done it and got the same answer.

Thanks, now I know why I kept the sharp one at home, it served me well through college and it feels better to use. Will try re-master this one. Thanks for the help guys, between both answers, I was able to get it going.

Basically the 2 formula are for smoke flow during fires in buildings, or at least part of the formulae. It's been a few years since I needed this since my engineering degree in 2007. Back to school now for a post grad dip and it feels like I'm starting secondary school all over again!!!

You did Engineering? You should be using a HP with RPN, then. ;)
Here's how I do the second one on my HP 35s:
(must be in Degrees mode, not Radians)
    35
    sin
    +/-
    e^x
    3
    *

I've thought I should be upgrading the calculator but I don't use it everyday as I've moved away from designing the work, and simply oversee/inspect now.
