Looking to do a 5k run this weekend

    Hi,
    Anyone know of any 5k runs either on Saturday evening the 30th or anytime Sunday the 31st? I'm in the Waterford area but will travel a reasonable distance for one.

    There is a few that night suit you, check out the running in Munster website. 2 park runs in clonakilty and macroom, maybe a little too far. There is a 5k listed for Sunday in cork city, blue balloon 5k fun run. Or if you wanted to stretch it to a 5 miler there is one in dualla in Tipperary which is less than an hour away I think.

    Cheers for that. I will look into the blue Balloon run in Cork. Myself and my girlfriend are looking for excuses not to go out drinking this weekend so it would make it easier if we had something planned for the Sunday...Fairly new to running, just about manage 5k in 27 mins so not looking for anything too competitive.
