Speed Traps in England

    Folks, just wondering about speed traps in England, I was there last week and I think I saw a flash at one stage from a camera speed trap and I was in a hired car. What happens now? Do I get a fine through the hire company or what happens?

    The hire company will potentially charge you a larger sum for the trouble and an admin fee, that's assuming the camera was functional.

    It'll come out of your bank account if you hired the car in England.
    It's on the form you sign before you take the car.
    At least no penalty points though!
