buying sofa from littlewoods

    dont know if this is in the correct area, mods please move if it is and sorry. my question, has anybody ever bought a sofa from littlewoods or any online retailers? any advice on why or why not, any help appreciated. this is the one im looking at, its on offer.

    It would be some pain is the ass to return it if it had a problem. You'd get whatever postage you needed to pay back but just the hassle.

    Littlewoods offer free returns...

    But - I wouldn't be buying any big ticket items from a catalogue. You don't get to see what the finish and quality are like.

    Personally I would find a sofa on littlewoods I liked. Take note of the price and then look local for something similar. I've noticed in a lot of ads in the local papers and leaflets through the door that most local furniture places will take away your old stuff if you need it gotten rid of. Very handy as it costs a fortune to bring something to a dump nowadays.
