"Free" tablets

Usually advertised on telecommunications companies websites as part of an internet package, what's the catch with these "free" tablets, do you ever actually get to own them permanently once you pay off a fee, or is it just some marketing trick where you never actually own the thing?

"Free tablet" gives people the impression they will be getting a free state of the art IPad for their internetting pleasure. But probably means they will be signing 2 year contract for an overpriced mediocre service to get a free low grade slow as fcuk tablet that they could have bought themselves from China for 12 euro.

Fairly simple force equals mass by acceleration stuff. Except the mass changes a lot. And this affects your acceleration. Which affects how fast you go, which affects your wind resistance , which also affects your speed , which affects what altitude you will reach in a given time and thinner air means you can go faster because less drag. And more importantly thinner means you get more thrust from your engines because the exhaust isn't blocked by air, and this affects your force and we're back to mass by acceleration again.

A Saturn V changes mass by 15 tons a second. And in the first 60 seconds the air resistance changes from 0 to transonic to supersonic.

There's also the curvature of the earth to take into account.

It's difficult with a computer, by hand it's insane.
