Sprite or white lemonade

It's so annoying that some pubs have sprite instead of white lemonade when u order a vodka and white.

What's everyone's opinion

They both taste the same when used as a mixer

I think the sprite is not as nice a mixer as lemonade. My life is in slow decline drinking alone In a pub on a Tuesday wondering what's the best mixer to have lol. Ah sure it's has to be done

I don't know what vodka tastes like, but I like both sprite and white lemonade.

Sure if you're putting vodka through it, the taste must be negligible. Unless you use an awful lot of mixer to one vodka.

Sprite is just a bit too sweet, prefer 7 up as a mixer to be honest.

I completely agree. If I wanted 7up or sprite I'd ask for that.

OP does have a point, there is a difference between lemon and lime (7Up, Sprite, those two being slightly different themselves) and white lemonade (TK, Cadet). Perhaps it's the hint of lime (or lime flavoured sugary crap) that makes the difference? Is there different sweeteners used in them or just different amounts?

Actually, do they even have white fizzy lemonade in other parts of the world? Or is lemonade to them the stuff that's made with actual lemons? But then you get pink lemonade in France, how does that fit in?

Ugh, this thread raises far too many questions, I need to lie down for a while...
