I'm currently getting ready to go back as a mature student to get an honour in honours Irish Leaving cert so that I meet the criteria to enroll in the Hibernia course next year. I'm hoping that in 3 years time I will be going out looking for work as a primary school teacher and I was just looking for advice on what courses I could undertake between now and then to help my employment prospects when the time arrives. I'm based in cork city and was wondering about coaching/GAA/rugby/??? All suggestions welcomed! Thanks in advance. :)

Any kind of volunteering, first aid, ICT , sport will all pad out your cv. Jobs are in really short supply at present. Hopefully by the time you finish things might have changed, but at present people are only getting a few days subbing here and there.
