Bush Recorder and FTA

    I see the 'Bush B500DTR 500GB Smart Digital TV Recorder with Freeview+ HD' advertised at a reasonable cost. Will this unit work on FTA in Ireland. I am currently using a LIdl system.

    You are aware that Freeview is a terrestrial system using a conventional aerial and only available near the border or parts of the east coast? I ask this as I thought Lidl only sold FTA satellite boxes.

    the bush needs to be connected to an aerial. i assume your existing lidl recorder is connected to a dish? if so the bush will not work with a dish.

    Thanks for replies .... I thought as much .... I have a dish system and an aerial for RTE only .... I really wanted it for the FTA satellite .... so I will have to look for another deal ....
