    Hi everyone,

So starting college again this September and trying to decide between three laptops. Basically want one which is good for watching programmes, Microsoft office, long battery life and doesn't have a tendency to overheat. At the moment I am looking at these three:

    Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series 15.6' i5 processor, Memory 8 GB, Hard Drive: 1 TB e599

    Sony Vaio 15.5' Intel® Pentium® 2117U processor, Windows 8, Memory: 4 GB Hard drive: 500 GB e479

    Sony Vaio fit 15E 15.5' Intel® Core™ i5-4200U processor Windows 8.1 Memory: 4 GB
    Hard drive: 500 GB...599e

Sorry can't post the links since I'm only new. I'm not exactly tech savvy so any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Eadaoin.

I would go for the i5/i3 processor instead of pentium tbh.

A guy in a computer repair show told me to stay away from the Sony Vaio's. I'd also go for an i3 or i5 processor depending on what ya need it for.
