Near car crash at Enniskerry road

To the person in the car I nearly hit on the Enniskerry road this evening, I am so, so sorry.. I have never felt so bad for my actions in my entire life and I hope you and anyone travelling with you are ok.

Today at around 6:00-6:30 I was driving down the Enniskerry route SouthBound since the M50 had a ton of traffic on it. I was nearing the end of the windy roads when my windscreen was started to fog up like crazy. I tried to adjust my air conditioning to clear the screen since I could barely see out, not realising there was a hard left right ahead of me!

I wasn't even going that fast but because I was already nearing the turn I panicked and jammed on the breaks and because of that I slid straight across the oncoming lane where another car swerved to avoid hitting me.

If it wasn't for your quick reactions, it would have been totally my fault that you plowed straight into the side of me and I would just like to say how sorry I am. I really and truly am..

I nearly tried pulling into the side of the road afterwards, on top of the curve to get out of the car and sincerely apologies to you in person but again, I really am sorry for my actions and I have learnt a solid lesson to not f**k around with my car controls unless it is 100% safe to do so.

Thank you though for your keen sense & quick reactions and hope you, your car and anyone that was travelling with you are alright.

    -Rob

Wish there were more genuine people like you out there.

Well done for admitting and hopefully you have learnt always watch the road and let nothing even the radio or phone distract yyou.
