HSA or Solicitor

I fell at work in February because a tank was leaking and I slipped in the water landing on my back. I was off for four months, but am still having phsyio as I pulled some muscles. The tank is still leaking and I've reported it to my supervisor, the site manager, and the owner, but the tank is still leaks. The site is old and I think they are leaving it because they plan to close down (the land is beside the new DIT). I first thought my fall was bad luck, but now the tank leaking still makes me think my boss is cheap and I am worth less than the repairs. So now I have a decision to make. Do I call the HSA and make an anoneymos complaint or is it better for me to contact a solicitor? Like I say, I didn't want to make a fuss before, but I'm p*ssed off they had lots of time to do the repairs and didn't. My neighbour said if I call the HSA, then a solicitor won't be able to prove the accident was because of the tank leak. Will the HSA visit or will they write a letter?

An injury claim might wake up your boss

the HSA are not going to do anything about your injury.

Go to a solicitor, who will be able to seek the HSA inspector's reports as part of preparation of the case,

I note the accident happened in February.

there are time limits for making claims for injury. Discuss with your solicitor,
