These head-cases eat rats. I for one think we should complain them to the UN or somebody who'll do something about this nefarious culinary debacle.

Down with this sort of thing.

Probably no worse than a Doner or black pudding.

If I had a guarantee the rodent wasn't riddled with some disease, I'd eat it.
Some barbequed rat fillets, served with lettuce and chili sauce. Yum.

"Rat meat can be grilled, fried, boiled in a soup or minced up in a pate, said Chheng An, 22, as he prepared his motorcycle for the four-hour journey over bumpy, dusty roads to deliver the day's batch to a rat trading post at the Vietnamese border.

"It's a good meat. It can be cooked many ways. Rats are very expensive in Vietnam and very cheap here," he said. He wobbled away on his motorcycle as it struggled under the weight of his teeming cargo."

Two tonnes of it each day!!!!

It's funny how some animals are deemed socially acceptable to eat while some others are not.

A rat is just an insect like a chicken or cow. No difference.

Maybe in Chernobyl. Most rats and cows just have the four legs.

Lookit, it doesn't matter if the rat-insects have 4 or 10 legs, it's just an absolute abomination.

Um, I've eaten rat meat in the past, while living on that side of the world. Easy to knock it until what you have in your pocket right now is what many families earn in a year....
