My experience is my 2 kids caught chicken pox during my 3rd pregnancy, I had it before, doc wasn't in the slightest bit worried and my now 2 year old baby is as healthy as a trout.

My opinion is that it sounds like the environment was so well sterilised there is no need for worry, though I totally understand your concerns and wanting to protect baby from any health hazards.

Thanks for that - my GP checked my immunisation and that of partner and mother of the children concerned. All are vaccinated / immune so really zero chance of passing anything onto baby at this stage. What a relief!

How did the GP check the immunity of the mother of the children concerned?
