    Hi,

Myself and my girlfriend are thinking of opening a joint account to manage our rent and other common expenses.

We both have accounts with AIB, I also have an Ulster Bank and she has a BOI.

Does anyone know who is best to go with at the moment? We'be probably be paying in about 2 grand a month to it.

Anything we need to look out for?

    Cheers

If you both have AIB then stick with them. Otherwise one of you is going to have to submit all of the compliance documentation again, photo id, proof of address etc.

AIB should be able to open an account v quickly if you are both existing customers.

What about fees though? AIB have high fees do they not?
