No time for a long write up but Endeavor looks a well handicapped horse in what looks a very mediocre race in the 3:30 at Cartmel today. Has done as much as any of the rest today but is the biggest price (11/2 best).

Another one I like is Our Gray Lady in the opener at Windsor. Very green run first time out and it nearly defied the odds to win at first attempt. Think it should stay on the extra furlong this time out and go very close. No prices yet and won't be doing it if it opens too short.

Tip for 'Run Sally Run' 12/1 in 3.05 at Downpatrick.
my auld lad involved in Syndicate - got call from trainer to say they're off today! Ran credible race in Sligo 12 days ago, 2m 4f was a little on the long side, back down to 2m 2f today..

    Just sharing the word.

If She does nothing today they're finished with her and it's a nothing of a race so there ya go!

    4.45 Ripon

    Osteopathic Remedy 9/1

I had this earmarked as my biggest bet of the year for months until he won the Thirsk Summer Cup on his last start and, although I've definitely scaled down the size of the bet I've had, he's an incredible each way bet in my eyes. For the last 6 years, Osteopathic Remedy has had the Ripon Rowels as his main target and has racked up an incredible record in the race with 4 wins and 2 places in this contest including the last 2 years and off the same mark of 90, the same mark as last years success, I think this 10 year old veteran will have been primed to the minute for this once again. Unlike most years of running in this race, Osteopathic Remedy comes into the Ripon Rowels on the back of a victory as he ran out a valiant winner of the valuable Thirsk Summer Cup on his last start (form has worked out very well) and despite his age the ability of the Michael Dods trained individual has not decreased at all. Although stall 10 isn't the ideal draw, he normally jumps out of well and the plan will definitely be to either track the pace or sit to the fore of mid division. With last year's winning rider Connor Beasley on board claiming a valuable 3lb, I think Osteopathic Remedy has an outstanding chance and I will be absolutely over the moon if he can win the Ripon Rowels for an incredible 5th time.

His form at Ripon in this race is ridiculous! However, I've sided with KING TORUS. GL

Why was the 3:10 at Epsom voided?

Was it just that race or the rest of the meeting?

    Here we go
There was drama in the totepool Supporting The Sport You Love Handicap at a rain-drenched Epsom as the runners completed the full five furlongs despite a false start having been called.
The riders appeared not to notice the flag man on the track and the race carried on, with the George Baker-trained Humidor passing the post first in the hands of James Doyle.

A stewards' inquiry was immediately called, which resulted in the race being voided.

Osteopathic Remedy ran another blinder to finish a fast finishing 3rd at 10s. All 7 times he's ran in the race he's made the frame. No complaints from the run of the old boy
