What does core modules mean and optional modules??

I have selected biology as a 'core' module and physics, chemistry and maths as 'optional' modules, but does that mean i have to have a degree in biology or what?? Im so confused!

nope, it means nothing, they just want you to pick 4 subjects, you pick different subjects in second yr and narrow down again in third, and again in fourth, but pick subjects that are relevant to subjects u plan on doing in fourth yr :)
