Hi Everyone, we are planing to change our old gas bolier which is maynute and some radiator as they are very old.

    1. Which gas boiler is best in value like vokera, valliant or other .
    2. I want to change the hot water tank also . is advisable to get multi energy tank as we are thinking to get inset boiler stove at some stage and solar heating in future.
    3. Is it cheaper to buy the stuff across the border i.e from uk and get installed buy registered plumber in Ireland and claim for grant.
4.How much should i expect to pay for plumbing suppose if i give all the material i.e fit 7 radiator and boiler and a storage tank .

    thanks

All I fit is Worcester Bosch. Bit dearer but worth it for the quality

First of all get your plumber to supply the materials. I'd highly recommend the new Ariston boiler. Extremely adaptable to any heating system. Ask for an A rated cylinder with an extra coil for solid fuel and one for solar also. I'd also recommend you get your heating controls upgraded and heating zoned. A powerflush is an absolute must before the new boiler is installed and I'd also fit a magnetic filter on the return of the new boiler. As for price, you'd really need someone to be there to look at the actual job. What part if the country are you based?
