PwC Graduate Assurance Programme Interview

    Hi all,

Have an interview for PwC for the Assurance graduate programme on Wednesday morning. To be honest, this is a role that I would relish as I think that I could add substantial value to the role, Moreover, from what looked up its meant to be a fantastic place to work and that everyone is really supportive with regards advice and the training and development is fantastic. Therefore, you could surely understand why I am eager to find out what the interview questions will be like. Has anyone any prior experience of being interviewed for Assurance??

Moreover, do they hire non-accountant or finance graduates for this function or what exactly do they look for?? The reason I ask is because all I have is a basic 3 year Business degree from an IT in which I got 69% with limited enough experience and fear that I could be blown out of the water by other applicants on the day.

    Any contributions greatly appreciated
    Thanks for reading

I was thinking the same thing. was just waiting for the op to say she's a team player who can also work independently

Congrats on landing an interview though, OP, unlike audit and tax, there are far fewer places going in assurance, AFAIK.

Maybe the accountancy forum might be best for your query though, it might get missed here?

Like I said, the accountancy forum might be a better bet, not that no accountant would ever darken this forum's door. You might just get more responses and more pertinent responses there.
